Choose from two core workshops, or get in touch to shape something specific.

It was at the same time luxuriously indulgent and practically useful.
It flowed effortlessly, and felt warm, safe and welcoming from the start. It easily got across how ritual doesn't need to seem weird, esoteric or mystical – it’s just a practical human tool to focus in on what's important.

To design a ritual is to take responsibility for meaning

How to Design Rituals
Ritual Design is about shaping the conditions for something meaningful to happen
How To Design Rituals is an entry point into the creative work of ritual design.
Through design challenges, enactment, and applied methodology you’ll learn how to respond to the moment through ritual.

You’ll leave with practical tools, shared language, and hands-on experience in designing and enacting ritual.
Who it's for

Teams and collaborators who want to design rituals as part of their work. This is for you if you already understand the value of ritual, and want to develop your creative abilities.

Tools for clarifying intention, needs and context

-
A feel for structure, rhythm, and the elements that bring a ritual to life

What we’ll do

We’ll explore how rituals are designed: how they take shape in response to real needs, and what the process of creating them can look like.

Our exploration is grounded in:

-
Experience of ritual design and ritual enactment

-
Meeting your lived needs for ritual

-
Design principles and relevant methodology

This is a hands-on experience. You’ll be designing and enacting rituals as we go, including one you can carry into your own work after the workshop. All the rituals we shape in the workshop are there to meet lived, present needs - beginning with the co-creation of our opening ritual.

The half-day version of this workshop offers a strong foundation.
The full-day version gives us time to go deeper, with more feedback, testing, and refinement of your ritual designs. It also opens space for a more dialogue-centered way of being together.

Viktor's workshop is the perfect blend of practical application and conceptual learning.
Over a fairly short space of time I learned about the essential components of ritual and how to apply them in a way that untangles the difficulty, confusion and stuckness that inevitably shows up in life.
The process he takes you through is gentle but very direct, uncovering way more than just a toolkit for designing rituals, but new insights on what it is to be a human being.

Workshops are offered as half-day sessions. How to Design Rituals also comes in a full-day version, which includes more time for feedback and development of your own designs.

Ritual is not a thing.
It’s a way of doing things

Bespoke
Workshops
Sometimes the work calls for a more focused approach. A bespoke workshop lets us meet a specific need or explore a theme that is important to your group.

This is for you if you want to go deep in one direction, rather than explore the broader field of ritual design.

In the past, this has mainly taken the form of workshops at conferences and workshop festivals, around themes like How to Design Rituals for Leadership Programmes or Rituals for Mindful Relationship Building.

How it works

All you need to do is reach out, and we’ll start a conversation.

Good conditions for this kind of collaboration are clarity on what you want, and enough time for me to engage in proper research and prototyping.

Ritual gives us access to ways of knowing that don’t come from thinking alone

Long-term Journey
For teams and communities who want to go further.

How it works

We begin by clarifying the needs you want to centre the journey around, including what skills you want to develop.

From there, I design a process that combines the fundamentals of ritual design with elements tailored to your wishes.

What it might look like

We meet weekly for two-hour sessions. Between sessions, you develop your ritual designs, explore, and deepen your practice. Each session combines teaching, reflection, and hands-on design work.

Curious about other ways of working together?
Workshops is just one way I support people in shaping meaningful rituals.
